The enquiry form prepares a draft in your email application. Entering details on this website does not submit them to us. We receive your name, email address, organisation and project details only if you choose to send the email. Please avoid including sensitive personal information.

Enquiry information is used to reply to you and discuss the services you request. We use this information to take steps at your request before entering a contract. Other correspondence is handled on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. Providing information is voluntary, but we need a way to contact you to reply.

When you visit, the hosting infrastructure receives technical information such as your IP address, requested pages, browser information and request time to deliver and secure the website. Any security logging is based on the legitimate interest in maintaining a reliable and secure service.

Providers, retention & cookies

The website and incoming mail service run on self-hosted infrastructure in Gravelines, France, using OVHcloud servers. Mail is handled by Stalwart. Authorised team members and service providers may access information as needed to operate these services and respond to enquiries.

Fonts and images are served from this website. It does not set cookies or use analytics, advertising trackers or browser storage. The enquiry form opens your own email application; your email provider processes the message when you send it.

We keep enquiry correspondence only for as long as needed to answer your enquiry, manage any resulting client relationship, and meet applicable legal or record-keeping obligations. We review correspondence and delete it when it is no longer needed. Server access logs rotate as configured storage limits are reached, so the period covered varies with traffic.

Your privacy rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, restriction of processing, or a portable copy. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact info@lab.bcgen.ie to exercise these rights. We may need to verify your identity.

You can complain to Ireland’s Data Protection Commission or your local data protection authority. This website does not make automated decisions about you or profile you.
